Author Launches Novel To Help Husband’s Fight Against Lung Cancer

Millions of  smokers around the world fail to see that smoking is an addiction—one that may lead to lung cancer. For author,
Barbara Wright Sykes, this fact is all too sobering. Her husband of more than twenty years was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer in September, 2006. In that same month, the release of Sykes’ novel Good Lovin’ Ain’t Easy, was put on hold in order for her to care for her spouse. Instead of giving up and seeing this as a set-back, Sykes decided to use her novel as a vehicle to raise capital to aide in the fight against her husbands lung cancer.

About the Novel:

Good Lovin’ Ain’t Easy is a fascinating account of a family who comes to California to pursue the land of opportunity. In a strange twist of fate, JD acquires   enormous wealth from his gambling addiction. However, two unsuspecting females set out to steal the money causing him to become a man on a     mission to retrieve his wealth and win his family back.
